\u2018All Year\u2019 children are able to use \u2018Stretched\u2019 funding which is applied over 50 weeks. This calculates as 11 hours per week, all year for 15 hours term time funded and 22 hours per week, all year for 30 hours funded.

Please note for Quedgeley & Stratford Park: Funding entitlement can be used as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food, Consumables and Activity Contributions <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BarBar Nursery are committed to providing a high-quality early years\u2019 experience for every child. To support this, we offer an enhanced, all-inclusive environment where children can benefit from a wide range of resources, experiences, and care items that go beyond the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discretionary Contributions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In line with current government guidance, charges for food, consumables and additional activities is discretionary. However, we do encourage families to support our food, consumables and activity charges, which enables us to provide a more enriching and well-resourced environment for the children. These charges cover a variety of things including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities<\/strong>: Additional resources or events for special events (e.g. Mother\u2019s Day, Father\u2019s Day, Diwali, Christmas, Easter, Graduation), i.e. specific extra craft items, outside teaching staff, visiting specialists, trips and other enhanced learning experiences such as science, bubbles & stickers, gardening and cooking activities which are not directly covered by EYFS requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Healthy food and snacks<\/strong>: breakfast, morning snack and afternoon tea which are in line with the updated EYFS nutrition guidance document-April 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n
